Suspension of Seino Transport Services Due to the Impact of Emergency Inspections on JR Freight Trains

As announced in the news, due to JR Freight’s misconduct, all freight trains will undergo emergency inspections from September 17, 2024, and service will be suspended for the following regions.

•  Hokkaido 　(excluding Hakodate City, Hokuto City, Okushiri Town, Okushiri District, Kamiiso District, Nanae Town in Kameda District, Mori Town in Kayabe District, Kuon District, Imakane Town in Setana District, Matsumae District, Futami District, and Oshamambe Town in Yamakoshi District)
• Hiroshima Prefecture
• Yamaguchi Prefecture
• Kyushu (excluding Okinawa Prefecture)

No estimate has been announced yet for when service will resume, and the impact may continue for some time.

Depending on the size of the product, the shipping method will be changed. Products with three dimensions of 160 cm or less will be shipped via another shipping company, but products exceeding 160 cm are expected to be delayed from their scheduled shipping date.
