To make the apparel industry in Japan and around the world a better place, ApparelX is pleased to announce that it has developed and launched ApparelX Global™ with cross-border e-commerce functionality. First, together with Japanese manufacturers, we will introduce Japan’s excellent textile and accessory materials to overseas markets. We will also provide high-quality textiles and accessories from overseas to apparel manufacturers and sewing factories in Japan. Furthermore, we aim to create a platform where logistics hubs in countries around the world are connected, enabling true global sourcing.

What is ApparelX Global™?

A platform for globally sourcing apparel materials such as textiles and accessories, providing three functions: ① export Japanese materials overseas, ② import overseas materials into Japan, and ③ source locally.

Features of ApparelX Global™

• Multilingual functionality ~ As the first phase, supports five languages: English, Chinese (Traditional/Simplified), Vietnamese, and Korean. Our proprietary translation system powered by AI also supports specialized fashion industry terminology. Native-speaker proofreading is also performed. The second phase is planned to include Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, and more.
• Multi-currency functionality ~ Supports US dollars, pounds, euros, Chinese yuan, New Taiwan dollars, Hong Kong dollars, Vietnamese dong, won, and Japanese yen. Expansion is planned in the future.
• International shipping ~ Product weights are preset in the system, and linked with rate tables for EMS, DHL, UGX, and OCS to create a site that makes ordering easy. *Due to the impact of COVID-19, shipping is currently delayed in some cases, but we are flexibly changing shipping methods to deliver orders.
• Dedicated concierges in each country ~ We have already hired several foreign employees and are able to respond quickly to email inquiries and Zoom meetings in English, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
• Provision of social functions and ERP services ~ We will continue to provide social functions such as business matching and blog services, which are already available in Japan, as well as ERP services for import/export operations, aiming to become a platform for international logistics including apparel products.
