Happy New Year. This is Kimura from the Sustainable Team.
It's been a while since my last post, but I'm currently working hard every day on developing textile products.
One of our team members has their eye on a sustainable material, and we are currently working on a trial and error process to see if we can create something that we can confidently recommend as APPARELX SUSTAINABLE.
In general terms, it is the development of textile for innerwear such as T-shirts and camisoles. We actually see and touch swatches with various blend industry weight and counts to decide which one is closest to our image.
I can't reveal the details of the material yet, but it looks like it will be a textile that is kind to both the environment and people!
This is probably the first time in Japan that fabric made from this sustainable material will be available for sale in textile.
Developing products using sustainable textile involves challenges such as cost and time, but we believe that it is an important step towards supporting the future.
We at the APPARELX team want to provide more people with sustainable choices through environmentally conscious products.
