Happy New Year. I’m Kimura from the Sustainable Team.
It has been a while since my last post, but we are currently working hard every day on textile product development.
We are trying to see whether we can create something that the team member who noticed this sustainable material can confidently propose as APPARELX SUSTAINABLE, and we are experimenting through trial and error.
In broad categories, we are developing textiles for innerwear such as T-shirts and camisoles. We look at and touch swatches with various blend ratios/industry weights in person, then decide on the one that best matches our image.
I can’t share the details of what kind of material it is yet, but it looks like we’ll be able to create a textile that is kind to both the environment and people!
It will probably be the first domestic stock sale of textile using this sustainable material.
Product development for sustainable textiles comes with challenges such as cost and time, but we believe it is an important step toward supporting the future.
Through environmentally conscious products, we at the APPARELX team want to deliver more sustainable options to more people.
