Today, I would like to introduce Muratacho’s MU-TECH.
It is the collective name for original textiles produced by the textile trading company Muratacho.
They have many functional textiles and have been used by many manufacturers and high-end brands.
The one I’m introducing today is a multilayer functional textile, and in my impression, these highly functional textiles are generally made to order with a minimum lot.
With MU-TECH, Muratacho takes the risk of holding stock, so cut-yard orders are possible.
I hope small apparel manufacturers will also make use of these highly functional textiles.

This is a 3-layer product packed with high functionality. By using a special polyurethane film in the middle layer, it achieves high water resistance, high moisture permeability, and wind resistance.
It has a water resistance rating of 20,000 mm. Since 10,000 mm is said to withstand heavy rain, double that at 20,000 mm is a true outdoor spec that can handle even a storm.
It may be a little hard to see, but the surface has a light brushed finish, giving it a premium feel. Its peach-skin-like touch is pleasant.
The matte look gives it an urban feel.
It also comes in 11 color variations. The color palette also includes many subdued tones, making it a great recommendation for urban outdoor wear.
This is also a highly functional textile with a water resistance rating of 20,000 mm.
It is similar to M-11000TL, but this one uses fully dull yarn instead of a brushed finish.
Fully dull yarn has low luster and a matte appearance, reducing the sporty(?) sheen typical of nylon textiles.
