Hello. This is Kayaba from ApparelX trend blog.

This time, we will be introducing Oharayaseni's textile that are now available for purchase at ApparelX .

Manufacturer page: https://www.apparelx.jp/search.php?maker=166

What is Oharayaseni?

The head office is a textile manufacturer located in Osaka.

We are particular about the quality of Made in Japan, and plan and manufacture textile mainly using natural materials such as linen and wool that take advantage of the characteristics of each region of Japan.

Regarding original textile , we mainly produce original textile that take advantage of the characteristics of each production area in Japan, including Omi and yarn dyed, which are good at handling linen fabrics, Mitsuke, which has a long history as a yarn-dyed production area, and Bishu, which is famous for woolen fabrics. We also carry out stock sales, so it is possible to purchase in small lots.

When I visited the exhibition in Tokyo, I could feel the energy of many young salespeople.

There was also hip-hop music playing in the background, which was very fun and had a different atmosphere than the exhibitions I usually go to.

Various manufacturers handle cotton and synthetic textile with great risk, but I feel that there are not many manufacturers that stock a wide variety of linen and especially wool-based materials.

In addition, the color variations and textures of the textile were all trendy, and I felt that they had a high level of sensitivity.

Linen and wool are relatively expensive materials compared to cotton and synthetic fibers, so they may be a little more expensive, but I think textile are worth it.

Product introduction

We would like to introduce some of the textile.

OA21273 60/1・JAPAN LINEN (color)

The raw material, linen, is French Linen, which is known for its high quality linen, and everything from weaving to processing is done in Japan by Japan Linen.

The feature is that after dyeing, the textile is gently beaten to loosen it, resulting in a soft, fluffy, washed-like finish with a washer finish.

As you can see from the image, it has a firm texture, but it has a soft texture to the touch.

* Oharayaseni product numbers are divided by color.

OFC6119 Linen recycled wool

This is an environmentally friendly textile that uses 60/1 linen for the warp and 10/1 recycled wool for the weft.

Recycled wool itself began to be produced in the Bishu region over 100 years ago, reusing the cotton waste left when spinning woolen yarn.

In recent years, it has been attracting attention as an environmentally friendly and recyclable material.

By using it with linen, we create a textile that allows you to enjoy the roughness and memory that is unique to linen.

OFC841 Recycled wool and silk tweed

A blend of recycled wool and silk is used for the warp, and the soft texture of silk is combined with the environmentally friendly recycled textile, and the fabric is tunbler in Bishu to create a natural atmosphere. .
