I went to the textile exhibition held by SUNWELL Co., Ltd. on October 17 and 18.
There were an astonishing number of sustainable items on display, including those made with recycled fibers.

This textile is made from 97% recycled resources.
On top of that, it also has Coolmax functionality.
It is an environmentally friendly textile with sweat-absorbing and quick-drying properties.
And what I thought was great about this textile is that it comes with a tag to attach to the product.
Products made with this “Coolmax EcoMade Technology” can be sold with the tag shown in the photo above.
I thought it clearly shows that it is an eco-friendly material, and would make people more likely to take an interest in it.
Many of the 2020SS proposals had a natural texture.
There were dry-textured ones, soft and airy ones with movement, and relaxed, smooth materials.
There was also a rich variety of colors, among which bright warm tones stood out.

The photo above shows a textile from the Reflax series, with a linen-like feel.
It is a textile that resists wrinkling and linting, yet has the natural feel and dry texture of linen.
There were quite a lot of linen materials and linen-like materials, and it really came across as being all about linen for 20SS.

The natural, pale-colored stripes were also very cute.
Thicker lines with uneven widths seem very 20SS-like.
