Over two days, we studied basic etiquette and how to approach work.
There were 30 participants, and the program was carried out in a flow of listening in groups of four or five, discussing, and then putting things into practice.
Most of the participants were first-year new graduates, and I think there was a lot to learn from hearing opinions and experiences from people of the same generation.
There was a session where we gave one-minute speeches, had them recorded on video, and watched them together.
I don’t usually get to see myself speaking, so it felt unfamiliar and was a little embarrassing.
In addition to the points I had noticed myself, the other members of my group told me about areas for improvement, and I was able to reexamine myself from various perspectives.
Through this training, I thought a lot about things I don’t usually consider, such as, “So this is what I really thought!” and what I should do from here in response to that.
I was able to clarify my own thoughts and improve my motivation toward work.
I’m really glad I participated.
I want to keep doing my best and not forget what I learned this time.
