One Month Since Joining: What I'm Doing Now

Hello.

This time, I’ll write about what I’ve been doing since joining the company.

For now, I spend most of my working hours sitting in front of a computer.

Since I had never really spent time with a computer before, that alone was a big change in my environment.

At first, I didn’t even know how to save data.

My typing is also really slow, to the point that I forget the sentence I was trying to type. (This is still true now.)

In the midst of that, I started studying programming.

I’m studying using Progate, a programming learning site.

What I found hardest when I started was not being able to read English.

It’s almost an English-only world, and I couldn’t make sense of words I didn’t understand...

I need to study English as well.

As I continued learning programming, I started to enjoy seeing the screen respond and move according to the code I wrote, and it made me want to study even more.✊✊

In addition, I also write ApparelXNews.

I write articles by combining what I learned at vocational school and what I’ve researched.

As I look things up, I realize there is still so much I don’t know, so I feel like I’m gaining more knowledge each time I write ApparelXNews.

And the other day, I went to a YKK exhibition.

I learned that there are an enormous variety of products suited to different uses and purposes, and I felt it was a waste that I hadn’t known about them until now.

So, I’m currently studying many different things.

There is a lot to remember, and I’m taking more notes than at any time during my student days.??

I want to keep doing my best so I can put what I’m learning now to use as soon as possible.
