Telework Diary

Hello. How is everyone doing?

There are suddenly far fewer people in the streets, aren’t there?

At our company as well, a five-day trial telework period for employees who can work from home was held this week.

It was a week of moving up the originally planned telework implementation and trying it out.

I worked from home for two days, today and yesterday, on the 5th and 6th.

It was my first telework, so I had a lot of worries, like what if I run out of things to do halfway through, will I be able to do it properly, is the Wi-Fi okay... I was really nervous the day before.

But in reality, telework was full of good things.

Since the commute time is shortened, I think the best part is being able to start work from the time I’d normally leave the house.

Also, being able to eat lunch at home saves on food expenses, which is nice. (lol)

You can also freely eat snacks like "senbei" that make noise, which you can’t eat in the office.

As for participating remotely in meetings and morning briefings, I had trouble finding a background I could show people.

If I could have displayed a super stylish background here, I might have stood out in the company, but that wasn’t possible...

My home needs some kaizen.

I think telework will continue to increase, so I want to keep creating an environment that makes telework easier and easier than it is now.
