More recently, the collaboration items between CECILIE BAHNSEN and THE NORTH FACE, released in March 2025, left a strong impression on me.
The balance between feminine and tech creates a sophisticated look.

"Manganese Kasuri," the only remaining type of ikat dyeing in the Mitsuke area of Niigata Prefecture, is a dyed fabric made by skilled craftsmen using techniques passed down since the Taisho era.
This unique textile features a delicate pattern created by printing the design onto a base fabric woven with manganese-dyed thread and then reducing the dye to reveal the intricate pattern.
By drying the textile without applying unnecessary tension, it is finished with a soft, fluffy, Wash Finish texture that feels great against the skin.
This yarn, with a thickness of 60 count, can be used for shirts, blouses, dresses, and more.
Kasuri refers to both the traditional Japanese weaving technique and the resulting fabric.
Kasuri weaving is characterized by its unique, slightly faded patterns, which are created by partially dyeing the thread before weaving.
Manganese ikat is a type of traditional Japanese ikat weaving, and is particularly known as one of the dyeing techniques used in Kurume ikat.
