This is mammy from the ApparelX trend blog.
Today, I’d like to introduce “Inoue Knit Co., Ltd.”, newly added to ApparelX.
Inoue Knit Co., Ltd. is a company that functions both as a trading firm and a manufacturer of knit materials, and it has particular strengths in material supply and responsiveness centered on warp-knit textiles.
It started in 1965 as a warp-knit production and sales company,
and in 1983, the textile division was separated to establish the current Inoue Knit Co., Ltd.
One of its features is that it handles a wide range of textiles, from apparel textiles to industrial materials.
Inoue Knit is not just a manufacturer of knit textiles,
but a company that consistently handles
knitting (knit)
processing (such as dyeing)
inventory and stockpiling
samples and prototyping
short lead-time response
overseas expansion
and can be said to be the only manufacturer in Japan that does all of these in one integrated process.
1. Because it keeps stock, it can handle small-lot orders and provide products with short lead times.
2. In addition to standard knit textiles, it offers a rich lineup of functional knits with added value.
3. It carries a wide product lineup not only for apparel textiles but also for industrial materials, sports, medical and hygiene, and baby products.
4. Inoue Knit’s core textile is warp-knit.
Warp knitting is knitting in which thread is knitted in the lengthwise direction, and it has the advantages of being stronger than circular knitting, not stretching too much, and offering shape stability.

A high-function knit with a smooth, glossy circular interlock knit texture.
It has a soft touch, is comfortable even when it touches the skin directly, and has a simple yet refined finish.
In addition, its UV-blocking treatment cuts ultraviolet rays, and its moisture-absorbing, quick-drying function means it dries quickly even when you sweat, making it ideal for summer and outdoor use.
It is lightweight and stretchy, so it can be used in a wide range of applications, from sportswear and casual wear to uniforms.

A mesh material with excellent comfort thanks to moisture absorption and quick drying, plus a soft feel.
Its soft, skin-friendly texture makes it suitable for a wide range of apparel applications.
Among colored mesh options, this is the most affordable mesh in ApparelX history, so it is also recommended for customers looking to keep costs down!

This knit material combines a highly breathable mesh structure with a stripe pattern, offering both functionality and design appeal.
It is lightweight, well-ventilated, and has a refreshingly cool look.
It could also be used for lightweight outerwear or as a lining for sportswear, but it is especially recommended when you want a one-point design rather than ordinary mesh textile.

Takashima Chijimi has been produced in Takashima City, located northwest of Lake Biwa, since the Tenmei era of the Edo period.
It creates a unique crinkled (uneven) texture in the fabric, reducing the surface area in contact with the skin for a dry, comfortable feel. It also has excellent moisture absorption and is a cooling material suited to Japan’s hot and humid climate.
This textile is, of course, a knit textile as well, so it has crosswise stretch. It features patterns and colors that evoke a distinctly Japanese feel.
In the same Takashima Chijimi series,
1930-DOT Takashima Chijimi Polka Dot
are also available.

By using high-filament, specially shaped cross-section thread, FREEZE FIT achieves an excellent feel similar to skin-friendly ultra-fine fibers. In addition, the specially shaped cross-section thread provides better water absorption and quick drying than regular polyester.
It combines excellent moisture absorption and quick drying, cool-touch comfort, and antibacterial and deodorizing functions, making it recommended for sportswear and more.

Dohten is an antistatic material that uses the conductive fiber Beltron, originally developed by Kanebo and inherited by KB SEIREN, Ltd. It helps reduce static electricity on fibers, which is said to negatively affect the human body.
Its features include reducing static electricity on fibers, making it less likely for dust and pollen to cling, and maintaining its static-elimination effect even after washing.
Since it is a fuzzy textile, it is also recommended for the lining of autumn/winter outerwear and for pocket backs.

One side is softly fuzzed, and it offers excellent cushioning and scratch resistance, making it a versatile textile material suitable for a wide range of uses such as garment linings, cushioning materials, and product covers. Its affordable price is also appealing.
We introduced Inoue Knit Co., Ltd., which handles products for spring/summer and autumn/winter as well as knits for apparel and industrial materials.
In recent years, I think textiles have been increasingly required to have added value and functionality.
If you are looking for a knit textile with something extra, please take a look at Inoue Knit’s textiles.
