SUNWELL held an exhibition for 2027 SS from July 1 to 3, and I had the opportunity to attend.
SUNWELL holds large-scale exhibitions about three times a year at rented venues, and this exhibition was also packed with new product announcements and product samples, making it exceptionally worthwhile.
In this blog post, I would like to introduce everything from the atmosphere at the venue to the featured products!
LAYERED GLOW — Layered Light, A Sense of Bare Skin with Depth —
was the theme of this exhibition.
The concept expresses “light that blends with the skin,” creating a natural glow and sense of cleanliness that seems to radiate from within the wearer, like layering in skincare.
Another theme was “the fusion of wellness and fashion.”
As the awareness that “materials touching the skin should be high quality!” gradually spreads, SUNWELL is proposing next-generation fashion that combines the concepts of textiles and body care.
First, let me introduce the styling featured in the key visual!
Light blue is expected to remain a trend next year, and the cool blue stripes immediately catch the eye.
As can be seen from the peplum and skirt silhouettes, this is a beautiful lawn textile with an exceptionally supple drape.
The elegant 100% Cupro satin camisole is paired with a midi-length trench coat made from highly functional stretch fabric.

This calm blue matching set has a distinctly mature impression.
Although it is a smooth fluid satin textile, its matte appearance gives the styling a moderate sense of ease.
As I looked at the products, what stood out most were the qualities SUNWELL excels at:

At last! A new Reflax series has arrived!
Reflax is one of my favorite series. Although made of polyester, it truly feels like linen, is machine washable, and resists wrinkling, making it ideal for summer.
This time, a new Reflax product using fine 100D thread has been introduced.
When I picked up the jacket made from the actual product sample, I was amazed by how light it was!
Lightweight and thin fabrics are certainly welcome for summer items.
Reflax is a high-performance, linen-like textile developed by SUNWELL. Although it is made of 100% polyester, it has a linen-like appearance and a smooth, dry hand.
This 100D double cross stretch has a linen-like slub texture and comes in a range of colors suitable for both men’s and Ladies’ garments.
It is also recommended for casual matching suits.
It combines excellent functionality with a UV shielding rate of UPF50 and heat shielding performance of S35.
This Reflax® ECOair 100D sheer cross is also a new product for this year. It has a linen-like crepe texture and beautiful sheerness when worn.
The mint color is especially recommended for its refreshing appearance.
It is ideal for sheer jackets and other popular summer garments.
This LIM-bless textile is also a polyester-rayon blend, characterized by its smooth surface.
It has a wool-like appearance and a smooth, dry hand, giving it a refined, premium-looking quality.
This is also a sheer viyella textile from the LIM-bless series. It has moderate sheerness and a fine surface texture that stands out.
I think it is perfect for blouses and similar garments that need a refined look.
The deep color range, including Bordeaux and gray mocha, also seems suitable for autumn items as well as summer garments.
LIM-bless is a series of high-performance textiles developed by SUNWELL, made from a polyester and rayon blend. It features a beautiful surface with reduced fuzz and a supple hand, allowing you to create clean, attractive silhouettes.
This is also a new product for the current season.
Although it has the exceptionally smooth hand of satin, this interesting textile has a matte, non-lustrous appearance.
Despite its matte look, the smooth hand and substantial weight give it a luxurious feel.
This Visky twill is another new product making its debut!
Different threads are used in the warp and weft, creating color shading that changes depending on the viewing angle.
Because this is a polyester-cotton blend and a kersey (twill weave), its dimensional ribs create a beautiful surface texture.
The moderate sheerness and beautiful ice blue color made a strong impression.
It is highly recommended for spring and summer blouses.
This seersucker has the characteristic textured surface of the construction, giving it a smooth, dry feel against the skin.
It has stretch thanks to SOLOTEX and is a sustainable material that also uses ECOPET®, made from PET bottles and textile waste.
This time, men's jackets and pants were displayed, and the sharp striped lines looked exceptionally stylish!
