Hello, this is mammy from the ApparelX trend blog.
SUNWELL's exhibition for 2027SS, held from 7/1 to 7/3, took place, and I also visited the venue.
SUNWELL holds large-scale exhibitions by renting out external venues about three times a year, and this time as well there were many new product launches and product samples on display, making it incredibly impressive.
In this blog, I’d like to introduce the atmosphere at the venue and the products in full detail!
LAYERED GLOW ~ layered light, a sense of skin depth ~
is this exhibition’s theme.
It is said to express “light that becomes one with the skin,” creating an image like layered skincare, and bringing out a natural sheen and freshness that seem to overflow from within the wearer.
Another theme is the fusion of “wellness × fashion.”
As the awareness that “materials that touch the skin should be high quality!” gradually spreads, they are presenting next-generation fashion proposals that combine the concepts of textiles and body care.
First, let’s introduce the key visual styling!

Light blue looks set to remain a trend next year too, and the cool blue stripe really stands out.
As you can see from the peplum and skirt silhouettes, this is a lawn textile with an exceptionally beautiful drape and a supple feel.

A midi-length trench coat over an elegant satin camisole made from 100% Cupro gives a refined look, and the stretch textile adds excellent functionality.
☆ Textile used for the coat: New item 22508 TENCEL(TM) lyocell fiber fade twill stretch
☆ Textile used for the pants
☆ Textile used for the camisole

This blue set-up has a calm, mature feel.
It is a smooth fluid satin textile, but with a matte appearance, so it feels like a styling with just the right amount of relaxed ease.
What I felt while looking at the products was, as expected, SUNWELL’s strengths:
・Textiles that look premium and expensive despite the affordable price point
・Airy textiles that strongly reflect trends
・Textiles that deliver easy care
・Linen-like textiles and worsted-touch textiles made from synthetic fibers but with a real-fabric feel
These were especially impressive.
Now, let me introduce the actual products.
The long-awaited new Reflax series has arrived!
Reflax is also one of my favorite series: even though it is polyester, it really feels like linen, is machine washable, and resists wrinkles, so it is great for summer.
This time, a new product using 100D fine yarn has been added to Reflax.
When I picked up the jacket used in the actual sample, it was astonishingly light...!
For summer items, being light and thin is a big plus, isn’t it?
Reflax is a high-performance linen-like textile developed by SUNWELL that is 100% polyester yet has a linen-like appearance and a dry, smooth handfeel.

This 100D double-cloth stretch has a linen-like texture and comes in a color range that works for both men and Ladies.
It is also recommended for casual set-up suits.
It also offers UV protection (UPF50) and heat shielding (single yarn 35), so its functionality is excellent.

This Reflax® ECOair 100D sheer cross was also a new item this year, and it had a linen-like texture and beautiful sheerness when worn over the arms.
The mint color in particular is recommended, as it gives a refreshingly cool impression.
It is ideal for summer sheer jackets, which have been popular in recent years.

This LIM-bless textile also has a polyester/rayon blend and is characterized by its smooth surface.
It has a wool-like look and a smooth touch, and I think it is a clean-looking textile that appears high-end.

This is also a sheer viyella textile from the LIM-bless series, and since it has a moderate sheerness and its finely textured surface really stands out,
I think it is perfect for blouses and similar items where you want a polished look.
Deep color variations such as Bordeaux and gray mocha also seem suitable not only for summer items but for autumn items as well.
LIM-bless is a series of high-function textiles developed by SUNWELL, made from a polyester and rayon blend. Its features are a beautiful surface with suppressed fuzz and a supple texture, allowing it to express clean silhouettes.
This item is also a new product for this season.
Since it is a satin textile, it feels very smooth to the touch, but it is interesting because the luster has been removed.
Although it has a matte appearance, its sleek texture and substantial thickness give it a luxurious feel.

This Viscy twill is another newly unveiled item!
Different yarns are used in the warp and weft, creating color shading that changes depending on the viewing angle.

Because it is a polyester/cotton blend and a kersey (twill weave), the fabric has a beautiful three-dimensional ridged appearance.
The moderate sheerness and beautiful ice blue color were impressive.
I highly recommend it for spring/summer blouses.

Because this has the unique uneven surface of seersucker textile, it feels smooth against the skin.
It uses SOLOTEX, so it also has stretch, and it is a sustainable material that also uses ECOPET®, made from raw materials such as plastic bottles and textile scraps.
This time, men’s jackets and pants were displayed, and the stripe lines were sharp and looked really good!
What did you think?
It is very appealing that they incorporate trends and fashionable colors, while also using a variety of processing techniques, materials, and functionality, yet still selling at reasonable price points.
The main focus is on textiles for Ladies apparel, but there are also textiles for men, so if you are unsure what textile to choose, why not start by checking out SUNWELL’s textiles?
New products not yet listed on ApparelX will be added sequentially in the future.
We carry a wide range of textiles, so please take a look.
