TAKISADA NAGOYA Men's Fabrics [21/22 AW Trend Colors]

Here are four 21/22AW trend colors recommended by TAKISADA NAGOYA’s menswear fabrics division.

We also suggest coordinating examples and recommended textiles.

1. Duffel Bag　ダッフル・バッグ 

Duffel Bag is a deep grayish olive.

Duffel Bag refers to a cylindrical bag used by soldiers and sailors for carrying personal belongings.

Although it is a military-derived color, using it for wool gabardine or etamine gives it a more mode and intellectual image.

"RE:NEWOOL," a recycled wool material made in Japan, is produced through every process in Japan, from raw material sourcing, wool processing, spinning, to weaving.

The polyester raw material blended during spinning uses recycled polyester made in Japan. It is an ecological material that makes use of the wool recycling and regeneration technology that has long been practiced in the Bishu textile district.  

2. Storm Blue ストーム・ブルー

Storm Blue is a dull greenish blue, the color of the dim clouds that cover the sky during a storm.

When used in yarn-dyed drill, it creates the look of worn denim. Combined with tweed checks, it gives an American nostalgic image.

While incorporating new designs, its traditions are continuously passed down.

3. Wild Ginger ワイルド・ジンジャー

Wild Ginger is a muted deep red, the color of wild ginger (awapuhi) that grows naturally in Hawaii. It is a rich red often seen in vintage shops in London.

When used in flannel or corduroy, it adds depth to the color and creates a warm, comfortable image.

Dark Slate is a dark bluish gray.

It refers to the gray color of European roofing and wall materials made from slate.

Originally the color of factory workwear, when used in subtly lustrous twill or relaxed jersey, it creates a modern city-casual look.
