Today, we would like to introduce a new manufacturer featured on ApparelX.

Chubu velveteen Corduroy

Since our founding in 1949, we have been a textile manufacturer that plans, manufactures and sells carefully selected Corduroy-ten and velveteen made in the Enshu region located in the western part of Shizuoka Prefecture. The quality of our products is the result of technology that has been passed down over a long period of time. As introduced on this production process page, the major difference between overseas corduroy textile is the dehairing process (rubbing with water to create fluff); overseas corduroys do not have this process and are pile-free. After the cutting process, we move on to the burning process and then the dyeing process.

By massaging the hair during the dehairing process, it seems to improve the fluff and give it a softer texture.

In contrast, overseas corduroy textile are harder to the touch and seem to have a fair amount of fuzz.

The production technology for corduroy made in this Enshu production area is not imported from overseas, but has been developed uniquely in Japan, so we hope you will use our corduroy textile made in Japan.

Among corduroys, especially narrow ridges, thin thread are used, and narrow ridges require more technical skill than thick ridges.

First of all, I would like to pick up some of these narrow ridges.

Narrow ridges are thin textile, and some textile are suitable for spring and summer.

It has quite narrow ridges and has been processed with a special washer processing process, giving it a softer texture.

TCR18308 31W Polyester Cotton Rayon Stretch Coal Special Washer Processing (wide width)

31W has top class fine ridges. Made of polyester/cotton/rayon/polyurethane, it has a soft texture while maintaining strength.

A thin corduroy suitable for spring and summer. The colors are soft and bright.

Decorore series

This series creates a random uneven pattern by applying pressure to a part of the textile to prevent the bleach from seeping into the textile.
