In the Showa era, alpaca was synonymous with bespoke linings, used in department store bespoke salons, established tailors in Ginza, and so on. However, it has disappeared due to difficulties in sourcing mohair (wool) thread for the weft. Driven by the demand for its revival, we've created this product with a slightly modified material: wool warp threads and cupro weft Cupro. While it may be slightly less smooth than polyester or Cupro, wool/ Cupro boasts excellent moisture absorption, sweat absorption, and antistatic properties. This is especially recommended for vintage-style fabrics and clothing.
