Among Styletex textiles, this is personally my favorite textile. First of all, compared with ordinary 100% cotton gabardine, you can really feel how light it is. And the texture and hand feel are interesting. Ordinary cotton gabardine feels like it has drape, but this polyester-cotton gabardine has a slightly crisp feel. This crisp hand feel seems like it would help highlight the garment silhouette. The color tone also seems to bring out the vivid coloring of polyester more than other gabardine textiles, and the color expression from the warp-and-weft different-color weave really stands out. By using polyester, the heaviness of the textile is reduced, giving the overall textile a lighter, more open impression. I recommend it for a wide range of items and styles, from coats and blousons that work for both on and off duty, to more fashion-forward or street-inspired pieces.
