Parasol hat for elementary school children who cannot use parasols properly
Sep 15, 2024
Color:R-1
We made hats out of parasol textile for children who find parasols to be a nuisance on the way to school or who have trouble blocking the sun's rays. The front half of the brim is double layered. For the rear and crown I used Outlast Mesh which I previously purchased here. In the front part, we added two pieces of craft cord to the edges to prevent it from blocking your view. The sides are shoulder-width and the back is long enough to block the sun. Thanks to the Outlast mesh, the hat weighs 92g. I really liked this textile because it was specified as white, but it was also available in color and I was able to add initials embroidered on it. I think it may be possible to wash it by hand, but I don't know for sure.
