Sandwich the seam allowance with tape and easily finish the edge with a sewing machine.
This lightweight grosgrain tape makes it easy to finish the inner seam allowances of bags, backpacks, pouches, and other pouch-type items. It can also be used as edge binding tape.
How to use
• Cut the tape to a length that is 6 cm longer than the seam allowance to be finished.
• Fold the tape in half (to 1/2 width) and lightly crease it with an iron (low heat / use a pressing cloth).
• Sandwich and wrap the area to be finished with tape, leaving an extra 3 cm on each end, and temporarily secure it with a brace clip.
• Sew about 2 mm inside from the side of the tape with a sewing machine.
