At Conbel, we handle fusible interlining and non fusible interlining, as well as fusible stay tape. Fusible interlining is bonded to the back of the outer fabric to help it hold its shape, and is suitable for areas where you want reinforcement, firmness, or added thickness. Materials can be chosen mainly from polyester and cotton.
Non fusible interlining is used in tailoring without being bonded, and it is best selected while considering the texture of the outer fabric. Straight tape is used along the grain of the textile and is suitable when you want to prevent seams and cut edges from stretching or losing shape. Customer reviews mention that it is easy to use for jackets made from knit fabric, has a thin and soft feel, is easy to bond, and shrinks little.
