*Due to special drying, both selvedges of the textile may be drawn in. The displayed width is the effective width.
*Because this is produced in small lots, there may be lot-to-lot variation for each dye kettle.
*Fading may appear due to friction. (It can be reduced by light washing.)
*Dye buildup may occur in wrinkled areas. This is especially likely to occur in medium-thickness materials.
*Product washing is recommended.
*Some colors have slightly weak lightfastness, so please check in advance.
*Because dyeing is done with an old-style small dyeing machine, large random wrinkles may appear. Keiore wrinkles (large straight wrinkles) may occur. Deep wrinkles may not be removed by pressing.

Frequently asked questions about this product:

Do SHIBAYA textiles incur a cutting fee per meter, and will the textile come in one continuous piece?

For cut orders, because the cutting fee is set at 500 yen per meter, in principle the fabric will be arranged as one continuous piece whether it is 1 m or 10 m.
However, for long cuts such as 10 m, there may be a break in the middle, so please understand this in advance.

Can the SLK series be washed?

The SLK series is not washable silk.
We recommend dry cleaning.

Can I place an order for textile without any joins?

Cut-to-order quantities are possible, but for orders of 5 m or more, piece breaks may occur.
If there is a piece break in a cut order, we cut it a little longer.
Also, even for rolls, there may be piece breaks, so please place your order with some extra allowance (loss).

I ordered the textile by roll, but isn’t the quantity the same as what I ordered?

When you order textile by roll, it is usually arranged as an estimated roll, so the quantity may be slightly above or below the quantity you ordered.
Therefore, if we need to change the quantity from what you ordered, we will notify you of the updated quantity by email each time.
If the quantity is greater, we will request additional payment for the difference; if the quantity is less, we will refund the difference within a few days after shipment is completed.

I would like the test data for the textile.

The color of the sample card swatch and the actual textile I ordered differ. Can it be exchanged?

There may be slight differences depending on the fiber material, and fiber products can vary in color from lot to lot. For that reason, we cannot offer an exchange for slight variations, but if the color difference is significant, we will consult with the manufacturer and arrange an exchange or other appropriate response.

I would like hang tags and woven labels for textile with a trademark.

Regarding hang tags and woven labels, if the manufacturer selling them is different, the prices, terms, etc. will also differ. If you order the textile, we can arrange it from as little as one piece. In principle, hang tags are often available, but woven labels may not be, so when ordering the textile, please let us know the textile product number and the number of hang tags/woven labels, etc.

I purchased a sample card, but there are colors not listed on ApparelX. Is it possible to purchase them?

Yes, it is possible. The sample card will be updated when the manufacturer adds new colors, but they may not be listed on ApparelX.
Please contact us from here with the product number and color number you want.

If I buy the textile by roll, is it possible to be told the one roll's length in advance?

If you order by roll, the number of meters allocated per roll varies depending on the timing of the order, so we cannot inform you of the meter count.
Also, we are very sorry, but because the length of one roll differs, we cannot specify the meter count.

What color is the PFP?

P下, PFP (Prepare for Print), refers to undyed, unprocessed textile that has been treated for dyeing and printing.

Is custom dyeing possible for colors not listed on the sample card?

Since availability, lead time, unit price, etc. vary depending on the product number, please note it on the support page or in the remarks field when placing your order. We will confirm with the manufacturer.

If there is no P-base option, can printing not be done?

If there is no variation for P下 or dyeing color numbers, we may also print on white and similar colors, but depending on the chemicals, there are cases where the print does not adhere well. Please try it with a sample.

The sample card came with a woven label and hang tag, but aren't they included with fabric orders?

The woven label and hang tag must be arranged separately. If you enter the desired quantities in the remarks field when placing your order, we will confirm with the manufacturer whether they can be arranged.
Once confirmed, we will let you know the payment method.

Is it possible to have the textile printed?

If it is a textile with P backing, printing is possible.
If you provide the data and quantity, we will send you a quote.

Is it possible to have the textile cut to a specified size?

It depends on the type and size of the textile. (A separate processing fee will apply.)

Can Pertex textile be arranged?

We are sorry, but fabrics such as Pertex are not sold as stock items.
Since they are fabrics that must be procured in lots after applying for the brand while respecting trademarks, we are unable to arrange them.
