The unit used to indicate the ridges in corduroy is the wale (W), which shows how many ridges there are within 1 inch (2.54 cm). The smaller the number, the wider the ridges are (wide wale), and the larger the number, the narrower the ridges are (fine wale). Wide wale has a casual look, while fine wale and velveteen have an elegant look.
For quilting coats and similar items, 21W to around 9W is often used for the separate fabric. In the past, narrow-wale fabric was used a lot, but recently medium-wale fabric in the 9W class has also been used more often.
☆About Handling Decolore Products Because this product is specially processed using bleach, it may not meet quality inspection standards for colorfastness, lightfastness, washfastness, friction, and similar factors. Please understand this before use. Due to small-batch production of each roll and the special processing, even areas close to each other in the fabric may show random unevenness, color variation, and significant differences in depth and shade. Please be aware of this. Wrinkling along both selvages, folded selvage edges, and selvage roll-in may occur. During the processing steps, various lightning-like wrinkles may appear, and friction during processing may cause pressure marks or scuffing on the fabric. There may be some variation in texture from lot to lot, and because the bleach processing is intended to create an uneven effect, thin spots may be visible. Please use this product with your understanding and consent.

Handling
Colors may vary depending on the production lot, so please strictly use the same roll. Avoid washing with light-colored or white items. This product has a directional surface. Please do not sew pieces together with different directions.
The SLK series is not washable silk. We recommend dry cleaning.
Can I place an order for fabric without any joins?
Cut-to-order quantities are possible, but for orders of 5 m or more, piece breaks may occur. If there is a piece break in a cut order, we cut it a little longer. Also, even for rolls, there may be piece breaks, so please place your order with some extra allowance (loss).
I ordered the fabric by roll, but isn’t the quantity the same as what I ordered?
When you order fabric by roll, it is usually arranged as an estimated roll, so the quantity may be slightly above or below the quantity you ordered. Therefore, if we need to change the quantity from what you ordered, we will notify you of the updated quantity by email each time. If the quantity is greater, we will request additional payment for the difference; if the quantity is less, we will refund the difference within a few days after shipment is completed.

The color of the sample card swatch and the actual fabric I ordered differ. Can it be exchanged?
There may be slight differences depending on the fiber material, and fiber products can vary in color from lot to lot. For that reason, we cannot offer an exchange for slight variations, but if the color difference is significant, we will consult with the manufacturer and arrange an exchange or other appropriate response.
I would like hang tags and woven labels for fabric with a trademark.
Regarding hang tags and woven labels, if the manufacturer selling them is different, the prices, terms, etc. will also differ. If you order the fabric, we can arrange it from as little as one piece. In principle, hang tags are often available, but woven labels may not be, so when ordering the fabric, please let us know the fabric product number and the number of hang tags/woven labels, etc.
What does W mean in corduroy fabric?
W means the wale count (number of ridges). The wale count is a density of approximately 2.6 cm per inch.
I purchased a sample card, but there are colors not listed on ApparelX. Is it possible to purchase them?
Yes, it is possible. The sample card will be updated when the manufacturer adds new colors, but they may not be listed on ApparelX. Please contact us from here with the product number and color number you want.
If I buy the fabric by roll, is it possible to be told the one roll's length in advance?
If you order by roll, the number of meters allocated per roll varies depending on the timing of the order, so we cannot inform you of the meter count. Also, we are very sorry, but because the length of one roll differs, we cannot specify the meter count.
What color is the PFP?
P下, PFP (Prepare for Print), refers to undyed, unprocessed fabric that has been treated for dyeing and printing.
Is custom dyeing possible for colors not listed on the sample card?
Since availability, lead time, unit price, etc. vary depending on the product number, please note it on the support page or in the remarks field when placing your order. We will confirm with the manufacturer.
If there is no P-base option, can printing not be done?
If there is no variation for P下 or dyeing color numbers, we may also print on white and similar colors, but depending on the chemicals, there are cases where the print does not adhere well. Please try it with a sample.
The sample card came with a woven label and hang tag, but aren't they included with fabric orders?
The woven label and hang tag must be arranged separately. If you enter the desired quantities in the remarks field when placing your order, we will confirm with the manufacturer whether they can be arranged. Once confirmed, we will let you know the payment method.
Is it possible to have the fabric printed?
If it is a fabric with P backing, printing is possible. If you provide the data and quantity, we will send you a quote.
Is it possible to have the fabric cut to a specified size?
It depends on the type and size of the fabric. (A separate processing fee will apply.) Please contact us for details via the Support Page.
Can Pertex fabric be arranged?
We are sorry, but fabrics such as Pertex are not sold as stock items. Since they are fabrics that must be procured in lots after applying for the brand while respecting trademarks, we are unable to arrange them.
Do you carry colors that are not listed in the color swatch?
There may be cases where a color is not shown on the product page due to new colors being added, etc. We may be able to arrange it, so please contact us.
