YZiP® Zipper (For Jeans) Size 3 Dull Silver Closed

ApparelX ID:1005722

There are no reviews yet.

YZiP® (Y-zip) for jeans is a metal zipper compatible with wash processing such as one-wash.
By using tombac (red brass) and nickel silver for the elements, and by making each element thicker than those of a standard metal zipper, physical strength is improved. In addition, like standard metal zippers, there are color variations due to surface treatment of the elements. This is a size 3 close-end zipper with dull silver element color.

Since this zipper can only be arranged through YKK factory production, the lead time is about 3 to 4 weeks. Also, because a code application is required, it takes some time for us to contact you regarding the factory-production lead time. If you are in a hurry, please consider the related item 3YNRC metal zipper (nickel silver).

Also, because these reactions are more likely to occur in high temperature and high humidity, when using a steam iron or similar tool for product finishing, please dry it thoroughly before packaging. About post-processing Discoloration may occur due to residual tanning agents used in leather products. Please use materials that have been sufficiently washed and neutralized after tanning.

Do you handle zippers longer than 100 cm or shorter than 20 cm?

Can be arranged. Please choose the closest length and enter the desired length in the remarks field.
*Price varies depending on length.

I would like the zipper separately without the top stop. Is that possible to order?

Yes, that is possible. If you specify it in the remarks field when placing your order, we will arrange it for you. The unit price will be provided separately.

Can you arrange a zipper for reverse use?

Yes, we can. If you write it in the remarks field or memo field when placing your order, we will arrange the zipper for reverse use.

I’d like a left-insertion zipper. Is it possible to order one?

Yes, that is possible. For open-end zippers, the product number suffix is OR for right-side insertion and OL for left-side insertion. For two way separator zippers, the product number suffix is MR for right-side insertion and ML for left-side insertion.
At present, on ApparelX we only have product pages for right-side insertion items, so please place your order from the right-side insertion product page.
If you note in the remarks field at the time of ordering that you would like to change to left-side insertion, we will arrange it for you. We will contact you separately regarding the unit price.

Is it possible to order a length that is not listed on the product page?

Yes, it is possible. When placing your order, please select the length closest to the length you want, and if you clearly specify the desired length in the remarks field, we will change it to that length and arrange it for you. (Delivery may take some time.)

Can I order a zipper in 0.5 cm increments? If so, how should I place the order?

Yes, it is possible. Please indicate the desired length in the order notes field, and we will arrange it to that length.

Can I order a zipper in a color not listed on the product page? If so, how should I place the order?

Yes, that is possible. Please clearly write your desired color number in the remarks field when placing your order, and we will arrange it in that color.
* Colors not listed on the product page are often out of stock, and if the color is out of stock, it will be arranged through factory processing.

What color is the slider on the nickel silver metal zipper?

It is nickel-colored. Nickel silver has a slight yellow tint like a 500-yen coin, but nickel color is a whitish, bright silver color.

Can the slider color be changed?

Yes, it is possible. As a general rule, if nothing is specified, metal zippers come with sliders in the same color as the element, and other zippers come with sliders in the same color as the tape color.
(Sliders with an attached pull tab are available in metal color only.)
The slider color shown on the product page is for reference, so the color will vary depending on the zipper you order.
If you would like to change the slider color, please note it in the order memo.

Which slider should I choose if I want to attach a pull tab later?

Please choose a CA, ZA, ZF, or other slider that can be fitted with a pull tab afterward.
The difference between CA and ZA/ZF is whether a pull tab can be attached from the base or not.
Pull tabs are sold by various manufacturers, but the specifications determine whether they can be attached to CA or ZA, so please check carefully.
The color options for retrofit sliders are limited to metal colors only.

Is it possible to order only the slider for a YKK zipper?

Basically, we are unable to accept orders for sliders only, but it is possible to arrange them if they are ordered together with a chain zipper or used for a zipper previously purchased from APPARELX.
In that case, please contact us via the contact form on the Support Page with the type and size of the YKK zipper you purchased, the slider color, the slider product number, and the quantity. We will reply after confirmation.

I would like to order a two way separator zipper with different sliders on the top and bottom. How should I do that?

If you note the desired upper and lower sliders in the zipper memo field when placing your order, we will change them to the sliders you want and arrange the order accordingly.

Is it possible to obtain the comprehensive zipper catalog "FASTENING Senka"?

The booklet-type FASTENING SENKA has now been discontinued. We apologize for the inconvenience, but it can be downloaded from YKK's website, so please check there.
https://www.ykkfastening.com/japan/catalog/

How should I choose between sliders with locks and without locks?

You can determine this from the second letter of the slider product number.
“A” = automatic lock (the slider locks automatically when you let go of the pull tab, and unlocks when you pull the pull tab)
“F” = non-lock (a slider with no locking function, regardless of the position of the pull tab on the body)
“N” = notch lock (a notch is attached to the shoulder of the body, and it locks when opened by bringing the chain against the shoulder)
“W” = reversible (pull tabs are attached to the front and back, so it can be opened from either side)
“U” = reversible (an automatic slider with one pull tab that can move along the rotating rail and can be opened and closed from either the front or back.)

I want to place an order for a color or slider that is not listed on the product page. What should I do?

If you enter your preferred color and slider in the zipper memo field when placing your order, we will make the change and arrange it for you.

I selected Lead Time Priority (custom production), but what does custom length processing from longer stock mean?

As for zipper inventory, products other than 2CHC concealed zippers are not stocked in the exact length you specify. For made-to-order production, we can process a longer zipper to make it, which shortens the delivery time but increases the unit price. If you want it processed from longer stock and need it right away, please select "Delivery priority (higher unit price)."

The article below is about coil zippers, but it also explains zipper inventory.
https://apparelx-news.jp/apparel-material/zipper/coil-fastener

Can you arrange only the hardware, such as the top stops and bottom stops, for a zipper?

We generally do not accept orders for hardware only, but if you arrange the zipper chain, we can arrange it for you.

How can I order a zipper without top or bottom stops?

We also sell zipper chain, so please place your order for the chain.

Does the Standard Metal Zipper, size 7, have a two-way open-end specification?

The Standard Metal Zipper, size 7, does not have a two way separator open-end specification as a standard option. The sizes that have a two way separator open-end specification are size 5 or size 10.

Can I order a zipper in a length that cannot be selected?

If the length you want is not available, please write your desired length in the order memo when placing your order.
If the unit price changes, the person in charge will confirm it and contact you by email.

What should I do if "There are required options to select" is displayed?

This is displayed when the required options have not been selected. Please check that you have selected one of the last options, either "Delivery date priority" or "factory processing".
