Available in four colors—black, wine, brown, and navy—all of which are easy to coordinate. Especially recommended for formal wear is the black bow tie, whose matte ground and subtle satin sheen give it a very refined and stylish look. The material is Nishijin silk jacquard, carefully woven in Kyoto by a long-established textile mill on a traditional low-speed loom. By using a labor-intensive weaving technique that leaves some slack in the weft thread, the textile has a soft fullness and thickness on the surface. From a distance, the black bow tie can also look like a No pattern black piece, but the understated sheen of the striped sections is very appealing. Pairing it with a No pattern black cummerbund or a No pattern black vest is also fresh and highly recommended.
