〜 ready-to-wear textile 〜
LINTON was founded in Carlisle, the northernmost city in England, U.K., in 1912 by William Linton, and developed a distinctive textile called fancy tweed. It captivated top designers around the world, and is especially famous for being dearly loved by COCO CHANEL. At LINTON, all processes for its textiles are carried out consistently in its own factory, from dyeing the yarn to textile design, in order to maintain the highest quality. While preserving tradition, it also faces the times, and continues to be supported even today by top designers and maisons around the world.
