A 14-mommesilk neckerchief printed in Como, Italy, one of the world’s leading production areas for silk fabrics. The smooth, silky feel of high-quality silk is truly pleasant to the touch. It is the perfect item for a casual yet elegant style, worn with a simple knit or with a shirt left open at the chest. The mill we commissioned this time was founded in 1930. While relatively new by Como standards, it has earned a strong reputation for its high technical skill and distinctive sense of style. With an extensive design archive, we created an EXCYFORMAL exclusive color from among them. Since the small floral pattern is a detailed design that can easily look plain, we brightened the base color to add freshness and a touch of glamour, resulting in a design that works beautifully as an accent to any outfit. The quality also clearly shows the crisp pattern and vivid colors, reflecting its high-level printing technique. The sewing is hand-rolled by skilled craftsmen in Japan. The fine, dotted stitches that appear on the surface, unique to hand-stitching, and the slightly irregular finish have a character not found in the herringbone stitching commonly used for ordinary neckerchiefs, giving it a refined, luxurious feel. Neckerchiefs hand-rolled by craftsmen are becoming increasingly rare in Japan, making them a precious item.
