What is the difference between single-dot and double-dot fusible interlining?

It is a difference in the adhesive coating method.
Single dot is made by solidifying fine powdered adhesive and transferring it in a dotted pattern onto the base fabric.
Because the adhesive is fine, it is less likely to bleed through thin materials and less likely to cause fading.
Double dot has a two-layer structure, with a gel-like adhesive forming the base and powdered adhesive layered on top of it.
It provides strong adhesion for a wide range of materials.

What is the difference between the whites such as KW, OW, W, and Y in fusible interlining colors?

The color notation varies by product number, but KW and W are fluorescent white, and Y and OW are off-white.
Fluorescent white is a whiter, purer white.
